Stop chasing money when God designed it to chase you

"Don’t exhaust yourself in pursuit of wealth; be smart enough to desist. If you make your eyes rush at it, it’s no longer there! For wealth will surely grow wings, like an eagle flying off to the sky."

See? It's scriptures like these that have you out here thinking pursuing wealth just isn't something God wants us to do. You know that's not exactly what it says, but it still feels like it's one more verse that's more against wealth than in favor of it. And that feeling is what stays on your subconscious, robbing you of freedom and clarity of mind to get this schmoney. We can't let that cycle continue though if we're going to attain the wealth that belongs to us. We have to face God's Word head on and find out what it's really saying; not just what we feel like it's saying.

In this week's scripture's case, it says "don't exhaust yourself in pursuit of wealth." It doesn't say not to pursue wealth at all. Subtle difference, but we have to consciously, intentionally draw attention to that difference so our mind processes it correctly. And personally, I rock with this scripture's advice heavy. Cuz what I'm not gon' do is stress myself out chasing money. Chasing money is stressful. Money chasing you is SO much better. And I am a witness that money hunts you down when you're in alignment with God's will, especially as it relates to your entrepreneurial calling. 

God has placed extreme value inside of you that, when shared with others in the context of business, is designed to attract money straight to you. That's your "power to get wealth" (Deut 8:18). And God wouldn't have given you that power if He didn't intend for you to generate wealth with it. All you gotta do is work it and it literally does the rest. So if you're going to "exhaust" yourself pursuing anything, let it be whatever good things God put you on this earth to do. Not money. Let money exhaust itself pursuing you.
