Make God's direction your priority.

"Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess."
- Deuteronomy 5:33 (New International Version)

The more I live with this slowed down version of my business, the more I see how far off I truly was. I used to legit get frustrated at God about how full MY plate was. Like it was Him who gave me all the things to do when, in reality, I was the one adding unnecessary burdens on myself. I'd be like God, how do you expect me to do all this? Meanwhile, the whole time He was like:

"It's simple, I don't. You're the one doing fiftyleven other things I never asked you to do, thinking you have to take care of yourself when if you would just do the ONE thing I asked, all the provision, etc would fall into your lap."

When this truth hit me the other day, I heard the Holy Spirit say LOUD and clear within me: If you don't have time to do what God asked you to do, you probably doing too much.

SHEESH. I know.

That's why this week's scripture is like a drink of water to the part of my soul that wants to do too much. The way that we live and prosper and prolong our days in our "promised land" is simply by doing whatever God asks us to do. Not the 500 other things we THINK we need to be doing. I know there's tons of methods and models & frameworks you may be learning for growing your business and I'm not saying don't follow them. I'm just saying, don't prioritize them over what God has requested. No matter how foolish it may feel, God knows best and is smarter than any other coach or guru you follow.

Let me help you simplify your business strategy allll the way down: just do whatever God has told you to do. And if there's not enough room on your plate for it, take some of that other stuff off. Make God's direction your priority and you will prosper.
